Services Short Term Cover We are able to provide clients with short term cover solutions such as sickness cover and training cover. The minimum amount of cover offered is five working days even though cover may be needed for two or three days. Long Term Cover Long term cover can also be provided for long term sickness or other forms of absence. Back Up To Complement The Dog Warden Service Implementation of initiatives and increased patrolling can place a heavy workload on in-house service units. DCS can assist by acting as an additional resource to assist in-house officers in promoting responsible dog ownership. Out Of Hours Cover DCS can also assist with the collection of stray dogs found outside normal office hours and at weekends. We would operate as the client’s collection service and to the clients requirements. Enforcement Work DCS has the ability to enforce dog related bye-laws and issue Fixed Penalty Notices on behalf of the client (subject to the client authorising the officer). Primary Authorities An extra Enforcement Officer to issue Fixed Penalty Notices for dog related offences under either the Dogs (Fouling of Land) Act 1996 or the Clean Neighbourhood & Environment Act 2005 (subject to being authorised by the client). Secondary Authorities A fully trained and legislatively aware Enforcement Officer to patrol Town and Parish Council land holdings to carry out enforcement action subject to the clients wishes. Education Experienced officers who can deliver the clients own education initiatives to schools and other groups as an addition to those services that are unable to carry out such work. |
